There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:1 NKJV
When a person is born again, he is delivered from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Christ Jesus. This born-again Christian is delivered from condemnation, but those who reject the gospel are condemned because they do not believe (John 3:18). There is another kind of condemnation that is meted to Christians who walk in the flesh. To walk in the flesh is to walk in your own understanding; examples include pursuing temporary pleasure and engaging in all manner of sins. On the other hand, Christians who walk in the Spirit are not condemned. To walk in the Spirit means to have faith, confess the Word of God, follow the Word, and engage in godliness.
